About This Role
The Nurse Manager I position at Kaiser Permanente is responsible for overseeing patient care delivery systems and practice standards, while collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care. What You'll Do
Implement best practice models and patient care delivery systems.
Investigate and resolve patient/family/member concerns regarding care and services.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to achieve safe patient care.
Monitor resource needs in assigned clinical areas for appropriate utilization.
Ensure compliance with the Nursing Practice Act and The Joint Commission.
Provide developmental opportunities and performance feedback to team members.
Manage designated work unit by translating business plans into action items.
Drive implementation of action items and support compliance with timelines.
Develop strategic partnerships with physicians and manage complex work streams.
Oversee improvements to patient-centered operations and technology processes.
