Position: Nurse Manager - Emergency Room - Acute Care Facility
Newbridge Recruiting Group LLC is working with our client to fill a Nurse Manager Position in Tazewell County, VA. We arecurrently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Nurse Manager for the Emergency Department ofat a leading healthcare facility. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Emergency Room department
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective patient care
Monitor and maintain staffing levels and schedules to meet patient needs
Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, including conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback
Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards
Participate in budget planning and management for the department
Serve as a resource for staff and patients, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
Stay current with developments and advancements in Emergency Room nursing and implement best practices as appropriate
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required, Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred
Current and valid RN license in Virginia is required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Emergency Room nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
Strong clinical knowledge and skills, with a focus on emergency care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and develop a team
Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards for healthcare facilities
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
