About This Role
The Nurse Manager is the designated leader responsible for providing high-quality nursing care while ensuring compliance with regulations. This role is ideal for those who excel in leadership, interprofessional collaboration, and operational management.

What You'll Do
Manage 24/7 accountability for the assigned unit(s).
Oversee daily operations and ensure team knowledge of emergency/disaster response policies.
Monitor nursing standards of practice and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
Develop and evaluate budgetary and financial priorities related to patient care.
Promote cost-effective use of organizational resources and manage staffing plans.
Demonstrate leadership by coaching and mentoring team members.
Supervise and monitor educational programs and evidence-based practice.
Support the Magnet Program by coordinating documentation and data collection.
Incorporate organizational goals into standard work and participate in committee work.
Professionally address complaints and follow up with appropriate departments.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Experience:
3+ years as a Registered Nurse required
3+ years' progressive leadership experience preferred
Licenses & Certifications:
Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required
AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification required
National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible
