Nurse Manager, Long Term Care Rehabilitation
Location: Geneva, NY
Job Type: Full-time
Pay:
$89,610 to $105,060 per year, plus hiring bonus
Lead a long-term care and rehabilitation unit where your leadership directly shapes resident safety, dignity, and quality of care.
Must-Haves
Current New York State RN license
Graduate of an accredited Registered Professional Nurse program
2+ years of nursing or long-term care experience
Demonstrated leadership and management abilities
Familiarity with NYS Department of Health requirements
Knowledge of quality improvement and performance evaluation
Strong communication skills with residents, families, physicians, and staff
Computer proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software
What You'll Do
Provide clinical and operational leadership for the long-term care and rehabilitation unit
Supervise RNs, LPNs, CNAs, CNA trainees, and unit clerks
Allocate staffing and resources effectively
Ensure compliance with NYS DOH regulations and organizational policies
Lead quality improvement initiatives using data to identify unit needs
Coordinate care across nursing and interdisciplinary teams
Recruit, orient, educate, and retain nursing staff
Conduct performance evaluations and support staff development
Promote evidence-based practice, teamwork, and a resident-focused culture
Nice-to-Haves
BSN or MSN
Previous charge nurse, supervisory, or nurse management experience
Meditech or other EMR experience
Skilled nursing or transitional rehab experience
Compensation and Benefits
$89,610 to $105,060 per year, based on nursing leadership experience
