Job description
Banner - University Medical Group Phoenix, is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our growing and innovative Obstetric Emergency Department (OB ED) team. This is an exciting opportunity to practice in a collaborative academic environment alongside OB/GYN Specialists, residents, and nursing teams dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.
The CNM will play an integral role in the evaluation, management, and coordination of care for obstetric patients presenting to the OB ED, while helping to advance patient-centered, evidence-based care.

Practice within a collaborative, physician-supported OB ED model.
Evaluate and manage obstetric patients presenting to OB Triage/OB ED.

Minimum Qualifications:
3 YOE
Current oe eligible Arizona Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) certification.
Experience as RN or APP required.
Women's Health, Labor & Delivery, Obstetric Triage, or Midwifery experience.
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (or ability to obtain).
Current DEA registration and prescribing privileges where applicable.
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience practicing in an inpatient obstetric setting.
Experience with OB triage, labor and delivery, postpartum care, and hospital-based women's health services.
Prior academic medical center experience.
Work Schedule:
Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
Rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Flexible scheduling model designed to support continuous OB ED coverage.
Shift structure and coverage expectations discussed during the interview process.
