Job description
Nurse Practitioner – Veteran Disability Evaluations
Nurse Practitioner – Veteran Disability Evaluations - Panama City, FL | 1–2 Days/Week
If you love the clinical work but not the 60-patient days, the charting until 8pm, or the phone ringing on your day off, this is the reset you've been looking for. Join The IMA Group and put your assessment skills to work evaluating Veterans for disability compensation, on a schedule built around your life.
No panels. No on-call. No treatment plans. No admin sprawl. Just focused, meaningful evaluations for the people who served — and a schedule that actually holds.
What You'll Do
Conduct thorough medical histories and focused physical exams
Review records, diagnostics, and testing
Document findings against VA evaluation criteria
Write clear reports linking a Veteran's condition to their service
Complete VA questionnaires via our streamlined digital platform
What You Bring
Active, unrestricted FL Nurse Practitioner license
Master's degree in Nursing
Prior clinical NP experience
Sharp assessment and documentation skills
Background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine, PM&R, Orthopedics, or similar (a plus, not a requirement)
Why NPs Love This Role
A real 1–2 day workweek — 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, no surprises, no late nights
No ongoing caseloads, no chronic-condition management, no chasing labs
Meaningful work — your findings directly shape a Veteran's benefits outcome
401(k) with employer match
This role is a fit if you're:
An NP looking to step back from full-time without stepping away from clinical work
Semi-retired or winding down a full patient load, but not ready to stop practicing
Building a portfolio career across a few part-time roles
New to the area and want a steady, low-stress way to get started
Ready for clinical work that respects your time? Apply today — flexible scheduling means we can often get you started within days.
