Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) Position Opening – Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH)
Location: Johnstown, Colorado
Compensation: $165,000 per year
Schedule: Full-time | 7 Days On / 7 Days Off

What You'll Do
As a Certified PA, you'll serve as a key clinical provider in LTACH setting, delivering high-quality care to patients while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Your responsibilities include:
Performing comprehensive physical exams and reviewing medical histories
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging
Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic medical conditions
Prescribing medications and developing individualized treatment plans
Collaborating with physicians, nurses, therapists, and facility staff
Educating patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care
Documenting patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record
Who Should Apply?
The ideal candidate should be:
Comfortable practicing in a complex inpatient hospital environment.
Confident managing medically complex patients with multiple comorbidities.
Familiar with ventilators, tracheostomies, respiratory failure, sepsis, and acute inpatient medicine.
Comfortable recognizing and managing urgent clinical situations while working collaboratively with specialists.
Familiar with electrolyte management, particularly in dialysis patients.
Qualifications:
Current NP (or eligibility to obtain)
Current DEA registration or willingness to obtain prior to start date
Interest in geriatrics, internal medicine, family medicine, or post-acute care
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Self-motivated with a patient-centered approach
