Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, has served the citizens of Manatee, Sarasota and surrounding counties for over 70 years. The 295-bed hospital with over 800 physicians, residents and allied health professionals, offers advanced healthcare services in a caring and compassionate environment. Services include cardiac care and cardiovascular medicine, emergency care for all ages, surgery services — including robotic-assisted surgery with the da Vinci® Surgical System, a weight–loss program, orthopedic services, outpatient and inpatient radiology and rehabilitation, respiratory care, sleep, oncology, wound care and women’s and children’s services. Manatee Memorial Hospital also offers a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for babies with special needs.
Job Summary:
The Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals with a wide range of digestive health conditions, collaborating closely with supervising physicians and the multidisciplinary care team. This role ensures continuity and coordination across the full spectrum of care, from initial evaluation through treatment and follow-up, while serving as a central point of communication between providers, patients, and families. The Nurse Practitioner plays a key role in assessing gastrointestinal conditions, supporting clinical decision-making, and promoting efficient care delivery, contributing to high-quality outcomes through advanced clinical expertise and collaborative practice.Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

This position is for a part-time Nurse Practitioner-Gastroenterology with Manatee Memorial Hospital
Minimum of five (5) years of Nurse Practitioner experience, preferred
Minimum of five (5) years of specialized medical training, preferred
Minimum of three (3) years of gastroenterology experience, preferred

Qualifications
Current and active State of FL Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License that includes prescriptive privileges certified by the AANP or the ANCC
Master’s degree or greater. Graduate from an ANA accredited School of Nursing. Graduate of Nurse Practitioner program with MS degree
Maintain current Certifications by AHA in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS) is required
