nAtlas Medical Consultants is looking for a passionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team in Bakersfield, CA. nResponsibilities:
nConduct comprehensive patient assessments, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations
nDevelop and implement individualized patient care plans and treatment protocols
nPrescribe medications, therapies, and follow-up care in accordance with state regulations
nCollaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
nDocument patient encounters accurately and thoroughly in the EMR/EHR system
nEducate patients and families on health management, preventive care, and treatment options
nMonitor and manage chronic conditions, acute illnesses, and post-procedural care
nRequirements:
nActive Nurse Practitioner license and certification (FNP, AGNP, or relevant specialty)
nCurrent California NP licensure or ability to obtain prior to start date
nMaster's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program
nDEA registration and prescriptive authority in the state of California
n1+ years of clinical NP experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical backgrounds encouraged to apply
nProficiency with electronic health records (EHR/EMR) systems
nStrong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills
nBLS/ACLS certification required
