nJob Title: Nurse Practitioner – Cardiac Support | Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group | Chicago, IL Location: St. Mary of Nazareth HospitalEmployment Type: Full-TimeFacility: Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical GroupOverview: Prime Healthcare is currently hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support our cardiology team in Chicago, IL. This position offers the chance to work in a high-acuity cardiac care setting alongside board-certified cardiologists, providing outpatient and limited inpatient care to patients with cardiovascular conditions.
nResponsibilities
nKey Responsibilities: • Conduct patient assessments and cardiac evaluations• Manage chronic cardiac conditions such as CHF, CAD, arrhythmias, and post-MI care• Assist with medication management, lifestyle counseling, and patient education• Collaborate with cardiologists to monitor and adjust treatment plans• Support post-discharge follow-up and transitional care

nQualifications
n• Current Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois• Certification as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with cardiology experience• At least 1 year of experience in cardiology or internal medicine preferred• ACLS and BLS certification required

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $120,000-$140,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
