Nurse Practitioner -Cardiovascular -PRN Days

nWORK LOCATION: The address is 6200 W Parker Rd, Plano, TX 75093

nWORK SCHEDULE: PRN Days; Ideally looking for a consistent schedule of the same day(s) weekly for outpatient hospital-based clinic support.

nCARDIOVASCULAR PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

nnnPrimary patient populations will be Structural Heart (TAVR) and Heart Failure.

n

nnGrowing cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical programs

n

nnPrimary Heart Attack Center

n

nnVision to continue growth and development of our high acuity capabilities to care for all patients.

n

n nWHAT YOU WILL NEED:

nnnBSN, Bachelor's Degree Graduate of an accredited nursing program Required.

n

nnMSN, Master's Degree Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program Required

n

nnRN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required

n

nnAPRN - Advanced Practice Nurse Upon Hire Required

n

nnNP - Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required

n

nn2 (Two) Years experience as a Nurse Practitioner

n

nnOne (1) Years cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery patient experience strongly preferred

n

nnBCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support Upon-prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly

n

nnACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support -Within 30 days of hire preferred

n

n nWHAT YOU WILL NEED TO DO:

nnnUtilizes principles and skills in communication and interviewing techniques in obtaining a comprehensive health history to formulate a plan of care and make decisions for appropriate therapeutic interventions.

n

nnUses principles and skills in advanced health assessment for differentiating normal and abnormal findings.

n

nnSynthesizes knowledge of physiology, pathophysiology, culture, and socioeconomics to access, evaluate, and provide therapeutic interventions to patients.

n

nnCollaborates with the multidisciplinary team to improve care processes in order to promote continuity of care

n

nnInitiates actions to meet patients/families

n
