Nurse Practitioner – Contract Position
Location: Central City, KY
Position Type: Contract
Facility Type: Correctional Facility
Schedule: 8 Hour Days
Compensation: Up to $4,100/week + Benefits from Day 1
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team for a contract opportunity in Central City Kentucky.
Qualifications
Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Kentucky or eligibility for licensure
Active, unrestricted NP license
National certification as a Nurse Practitioner
Current BLS certification
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Previous clinical experience preferred
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and preventative care
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care while adhering to established clinical standards
