Job Description
A Central Point, Oregon based client is seeking an exceptional Nurse Practitioner to provide patient care in a community health center and an acute care hospital. There are two separate positions available, one in outpatient and one in acute care. Ideal candidates are collaborative, practice evidence-based care, excel as an individual and as a team member, and provide equitable care to all populations.
Required Qualifications
OR license as a Nurse Practitioner
Completion of an MSN and Family Nurse Practitioner program
DEA certification
CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual Spanish
1-2 years of experience
Responsibilities
Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients, in either hospital or community health center environment
Perform therapeutic procedures, including preventative care and follow up
Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services
Chart review and document all patient encounters efficiently and according to organization policy and JCAHO standards
Coordinates the preparation of reports and written documentation including medical records, as required by the department clinic, state and federal agencies
Supervises Nurses and assistants in examining room and may serve as preceptor for team members
