Your Responsibilities
Performing thorough assessments of patients, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
Identifying and addressing acute, episodic, or chronic health concerns in collaboration with physicians or independently, depending on your credentials
Informing patients and their families about preventive health measures, wellness initiatives, and disease management strategies
Prescribing medications and therapies within your professional boundaries
Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic condition management

Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Background
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) required
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program is essential
Essential Credentials
Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or ability to obtain within 90 days
Distinguishing Skills
