Preferred Podiatry Group (PPG) is hiring an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide foot and lower-extremity focused care to patients in long-term care, skilled nursing, nursing home, and senior living communities throughout Wisconsin.

Join a growing clinical team focused on improving patient mobility, preventing complications, and enhancing quality of life — with the autonomy to manage your schedule and dedicated operational support behind you.

Complete timely clinical documentation in NextGen EMR using a company-issued iPad

Practice autonomously in accordance with Wisconsin APRN requirements and PPG clinical standards

Ongoing training, mentorship, and clinical development

High level of clinical autonomy

Work-life balance without the administrative burden of building your own practice

What We're Looking For

Required

Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Current national Nurse Practitioner certification through an applicable certifying body, such as AANP or ANCC

Active Registered Nurse license and ability to obtain appropriate Wisconsin RN/APRN licensure

Minimum 2 years of post-graduate Nurse Practitioner/APRN clinical practice experience

Must meet or be able to meet Wisconsin Board of Nursing requirements for Independent APRN Practice prior to independent field practice

Willingness to complete all Wisconsin APRN licensing requirements, including the required jurisprudence examination

Ability to work autonomously and travel between assigned long-term care facilities

Preferred

Long-term care, skilled nursing, geriatrics, wound care, diabetic care, primary care, or podiatry-related clinical experience

Previous experience practicing independently or in a highly autonomous clinical setting

BLS certification

Important Wisconsin Licensure Information

Due to the autonomous nature of this position, candidates must qualify for Independent APRN Practice under Wisconsin law before practicing independently with PPG.

Experienced Nurse Practitioners currently licensed in another state are encouraged to apply. Qualifying out-of-state APRN clinical experience may be considered toward Wisconsin's Independent Practice requirements, subject to review and approval by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing.

Candidates whose practice currently requires an ongoing physician or dentist collaborative relationship may require additional review to determine eligibility for this position.
