nAbout the Role:
nTristate Arthritis & Rheumatology is looking for a passionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dedicated team in Crestview Hills, KY on or after January 4, 2027. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients managing arthritis and complex rheumatologic conditions. nResponsibilities:
nEvaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and gout
nDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising rheumatologists
nOrder and interpret diagnostic tests including labs, imaging, and joint aspirations
nPrescribe and monitor medications including DMARDs, biologics, and corticosteroids
nConduct follow-up appointments to assess treatment efficacy and adjust care plans accordingly
nEducate patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications
nMaintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system
nRequirements:
nCurrent NP or PA licensure in the state of Kentucky (or eligibility to obtain). New Graduates encouraged to apply!
nMaster's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
nNational board certification as an NP (FNP, AGNP) or PA-C
nPrior experience in rheumatology, internal medicine, or a related specialty preferred, but not required.
nFamiliarity with biologic therapies and immunosuppressive medications is a plus
nStrong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and diagnostic skills
nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-first approach
nDEA license or ability to obtain one
