Job description
Nurse Practitioner Family
We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to treat children and adults to join our team who will provide quality care to our patients. DOT Certified is a plus. But not required. A Nurse Practitioner's responsibilities include prescribing medication, examining patients, diagnosing illnesses and providing treatment. Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests. Gathering health histories, performing physical examinations and diagnostic procedures. Developing and implementing treatment plans. Dictating and documenting all patient interactions. Notifying the managing physician about unusual or unexpected events or problems. Effectively communicating with diverse populations, including physicians, employees, patients, and families. Sorry, no new grads! Requirements include holding a current license/registration to practice, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion, and the ability to maintain highly confidential information. Master's Degree in Nursing. Benefits include a benefit package.
