nDescription
nResponsible for providing direct patient care within the practice & directive of collaborating physician; assessment and management of patients; day to day implementation and evaluation of the appropriate plan of care; serving as a consultant, researcher, and educator.
nWorks in collaboration with the Physician as well as nursing and support services to provide patient-focused care.
nPerforms history & physicals, documentation of findings; communication with collaborating Provider.
nOrders appropriate diagnostic testing; reviews results/ informs patients & Providers of findings and required follow up.
nPatient education and support.
nEnsures continuity of care for follow-up treatments.
nOther duties as necessary under direction of Provider/s and Administration.
nAs expected with all healthcare positions, must adhere to HIPAA/OSHA regulations and maintain annual required workplace trainings.

nRequiredActive Kentucky Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license; FNP.ACLS/BLS required.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high focus on quality patient care in teamwork-oriented environment.previous work experience as a Nurse Practitioner; medical office/ hospital experience highly preferred.
