Job description
Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner – Civilian Opportunity at Dumfries Health Center
Make a meaningful impact by providing high‑quality outpatient care to active‑ duty service members and their families.
Position Highlights
Full‑time, predictable schedule: 40 hours per week.
One Saturday shift every 4–5 weeks.
Manageable patient load: 17–19 patients per day.
Outpatient‑only practice.
Supportive, team‑oriented environment with minimal administrative burden.
Appreciative and compliant patient population.
Qualifications
Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (Family Medicine).
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.
Graduate of an accredited advanced practice nursing program.
Active NP license in accordance with state board requirements.
Current DEA registration and BLS certification.
U.S. citizenship required (government contract).
