nWe are a busy and well-established family practice that has operated independently for more than 25 years. We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. We provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals and families and are looking for someone who enjoys building strong relationships with patients while working in a collaborative, supportive environment. We offer mentorship and support from our experienced doctors. If you are looking for an opportunity to leave the clinical environment of the hospitals and join a comfortable medical office while making a lasting difference in patient care, this position is for you. No working nights or weekends beyond the shared on-call rotation.
nThe ideal candidate is confident, personable, and committed to providing high-quality primary care.
nWhat you'll do:
nEvaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across a broad range of medical conditions
nProvide preventive, acute, and chronic disease management
nPerform physical examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans
nOrder and interpret diagnostic testing as appropriate
nPrescribe medications in accordance with applicable regulations
nEducate patients and families about their health and treatment options
nDevelop long-term relationships with patients
nCollaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and the rest of our team
nContribute to the continued growth and success of the practice
nWe're Looking For
nCurrent Physician Assistant license and certification
nGraduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
nStrong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
nCompassionate, patient-focused approach
nAbility to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a team
nFamily medicine or primary care experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome to apply
