Job description
Responsible for delivering the highest quality health care within The Little Clinic's scope of services while achieving optimum patient satisfaction. These responsibilities include but are not limited to: building relationships with the patients, host store personnel and the health care community in order to enhance practice building and continuity of care. nRESPONSIBILITIES
nnnProvide the highest quality of medical care to our patients while maintaining all company metrics for productivity
n
nnParticipate in peer review, quality assurance, and staff meetings with other health practitioners as required
n
nnEnsure that a safety and quality-based healthcare environment is maintained
n
nnEnsure that the clinic remains open for all scheduled hours
n
nnCollaborate with the regional management in participating in a community event to promote TLC to generate increased utilization of the clinic
n
nnRespond as directed by regional management to correct any situations noted on the customer experience survey
n
nnManage the clinic's inventory and order supplies to maintain cost effective clinical operations
n
nnPerform quality control on instrumentation and CLIA waived testing as scheduled
n
nnUtilize the company information systems as directed and in compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies
n
nnSupport mentor program by being a resource and a role model
n
nnKeep clinical knowledge current by attending ongoing education seminars related to retail and family practice
n
nnProvide coverage for clinics within the region as needed, and as assigned by the regional management
n
nnControl costs at the clinics to meet the budgeted profitability goals
n
nnMaintain a presence in the community through active membership in local nursing organizations and through participation in community outreach programs
n
nnPresent a neat, well-groomed image, wearing a clean, white lab coat, closed toe shoes in compliance with The Little Clinic dress code
n
nnParticipate in other operational duties and responsibilities as assigned by the regional management
n
nnIf a float: Travel to designated clinics within a specified geographic area
n
nnMust be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
n
n nQUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM
nnnMaster of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Bachelors Degree as a Physician Assistant (PAs in OH must have completed 500 hours of postgraduate physiciansupervised experience)
n
nn1 year of experience in healthcare
n
nnActive license, American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification and all necessary state credentials
n
nnBoard certified family nurse practitioner (FNPC); or physician assistant (PAC), where eligible
n
nnValid drivers license
n
nnAbility to prioritize and handle multiple projects and responsibilities
n
nnAbility to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
n
nnExcellent telephone, interpersonal and organizational skills
n
nnStrong computer skills
n
nnExcellent oral/written communication skills
n
nnAbility to work both independently and as part of a team
n
n nDESIRED
nnnAny experience with applicable clinical procedures
n
nnAny experience with electronic health record charting systems
n
nnAny previous experience in retail health, emergency health, critical care
n
nnDemonstrated leadership, coaching and influencing skills
