Your Day-to-Day Activities
Executing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and developing tailored treatment plans
Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues alongside physicians or independently as authorized
Educating patients and families on wellness, disease prevention, and management strategies
Prescribing medications and treatments per your qualification
Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care oversight
Collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams to create cohesive, comprehensive patient care
Accurately documenting patient information within electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Credentials
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in California
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)

Robust clinical judgment coupled with an empathetic bedside presence
Strong communication abilities with patients, their families, and fellow healthcare professionals
Versatility in fast-paced, patient-focused environments
Familiarity with EMR platforms along with a comfort with telehealth technologies
