Indiana University Health Medical Group has an exciting career opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its collaborative Hem/Onc team, located in Lafayette, IN at Arnett Cancer Center .
Career Opportunity Details Full Time
Days; Monday-Friday
36 Clinical Hours
No Call, No Weekend
50% Outpatient / 50% Inpatient
Patient Population: Patients under the care of Hematology/medical Oncology department
Key Responsibilities: Co-m anage patients first chemotherapy/immunotherapy treatment, follow up visits and urgent visits.
Provide education to patients for chemo, biotherapy, and any infusion service.
Staff education and development
Covering Inpatient rounding for established Oncology patients
Qualifications: Master's Degree required
ACNP, AGNP, FNP, or PA required
Experienced candidates preferred, however having experience with Oncology patients either in training or prior experience is acceptable.
AOCN and/or OCN certification is ideal, but not required
