Nurse Practitioner – Hospitalist in Tennessee

Types of Cases: Nocturnist – Hospital Medicine; Dedicated NP/PA Admitter role
Credentialing: Cross Credentialing Required: Holston Valley HM; Documentation of MMR and Varicella immunity (vaccines or titers); Two-Step TB Test within past 12 months; Chest X-Ray if TB positive; TB QuantiFERON Gold acceptable per facility requirements; Case logs for previous 2 years; Malpractice Coverage: $1M/$3M
Minimum Requirements
Board Certified/Board Eligible: Nurse Practitioner: Board Certified (AANP or ANCC); Physician Assistant: Board Certified (NCCPA)
Certifications: ACLS Certification
Licensure: NP: Active unrestricted Tennessee RN License; Active Tennessee NP License; Tennessee DEA with TN address and Prescriptive Authority PA: Active unrestricted Tennessee Medical License; Active DEA with TN address – Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4 & 5
