HOSPITALIST
nNURSE PRACTITIONER OPENING
nDallas (Kaufman), TEXAS
nTexas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Hospitalist opening for a full-time opportunity in Kaufman, TX. Expand your career by working closely with a successful group of hospitalists evaluating, diagnosing and treating a variety of patients.
nPOSITION DETAILS:
nnnAssist Hospitalists with inpatient evaluations, H&P's & follow-up visits.
n
nnInitiate appropriate treatment & testing for medical illnesses.
n
nnComplete history and physical examinations on all new admissions
n
nnRound on rehabilitation patients including long term acute care patients
n
nnDocument using EMR system.
n
nnParticipate in continuous quality improvement processes.
n
n nIF YOU:
nnnEnjoy working Night Shift 3pm-3am
n
nnActive listening, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgement and decision making
n
nnTexas licensed Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
n
nnACLS certification
n
nn2 years of NP or RN experience in ICU/CVICU required.
n
n nNurse Practitioner Qualifications:
nThe Nurse Practitioner ('NP') Must be a graduate of an accredited Advanced Nursing Program and have a current RN license for the State of Texas.
nCertified Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas.
nThe NP will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.
nThe NP's duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only
