nUnityPoint Clinic is a physician-led, nonprofit health care organization offering comprehensive services in primary care, walk-in care and specialty care. The clinical teams at the area’s clinics are improving outcomes, lowering the number of hospital readmissions and reducing avoidable costs associated with treating chronic conditions. The UnityPoint Clinic team is known for excellence and quality patient care putting patients at the center of their care to provide the best level of health and well-being.
nnnEstablished team of 24 Physicians and 6 Advanced Practitioners

nnHospitalist schedule is 5on/5off with 12-hour shifts, 7a-7p; with flexibility in scheduling
n
nnNo Night Work & No Call
n
nnOpportunity to practice inpatient medicine in an established and well-known clinic in QC and Muscatine Communities
n
nnExperienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients and the community
n
nnFully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

nResponsibilities
nnnAverage of 10-12 patients per day
n
nnAdmitting patients to the hospital and rounding on patients with the collaboration of their assigned physician
n
nnAbility to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
n
nnEvaluates, interprets, and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
n
nnPatient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
n
nnExcellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
n
n nQualifications
nnnNurse Practitioner or Physician Associate
n
nnBoard Certified
n
nnInpatient and acute care experience required
n
nnHold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa and Illinois
n
nnHold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
n
