About Us: We are a patient-centered, fast-growing cardiovascular clinic committed to delivering exceptional care through compassion, collaboration, and clinical excellence. Our multidisciplinary team works closely to provide comprehensive cardiovascular services, from preventative care to advanced diagnostics and procedures. We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team and help us continue raising the standard of care.
nPosition Summary: The Nurse Practitioner will provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up, in collaboration with our physicians. This role involves both in-office patient visits and coordination of ongoing treatment plans, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and patient education.
nKey Responsibilities:
nConduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
nOrder, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and imaging studies.
nPrescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations.
nCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.
nPerform patient education regarding disease prevention, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle practices.
nMaintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the EMR.
nParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with MIPS and other performance measures.
nQualifications:
nCurrent Nurse Practitioner license in Texas and in good standing.
nCurrent BLS and ACLS certifications.
nStrong diagnostic and clinical skills.
nExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
nEMR proficiency (experience with eClinicalWorks preferred).
