nType: Six-month contract with potential for extension or perm hire
nSchedule: Between 8am-6pm Mon-Fri, weekends and holidays may apply
nPay: $65.00 to $68.00 an hour
nPosition Summary
nWe are seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality primary and/or specialty care services, conduct patient assessments, diagnose and treat medical conditions, develop care plans, and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
nKey Responsibilities
nnnConduct comprehensive patient assessments, examinations, and medical histories.
n
nnDiagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
n
nnOrder, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
n
nnPrescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.
n
nnDevelop and implement individualized patient care plans.
n
nnEducate patients and families regarding disease prevention, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle choices.
n
nnMaintain accurate and timely medical documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
n
nnCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
n
nnParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with clinical standards and regulations.
n
n nQualifications
nRequired
nnnMaster's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
n
nnCurrent Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
n
nnNational board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
n
nnCurrent DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
n
nnCurrent BLS certification.
n
n nPreferred
nnn(1-3+) years of Nurse Practitioner experience.
n
nnExperience in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, pediatrics, or specialty practice.
n
nnProficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).
n
n nSkills & Competencies
