Your Responsibilities Will Include
Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care strategies
Identifying and addressing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues in partnership with physicians or independently, aligned with your credentials
Providing education to patients and their families regarding prevention, wellness, and disease management
Prescribing treatments and medications within your professional scope
Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic conditions effectively
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and integrated care
Maintaining accurate documentation using electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner license for the state of California
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure these within 90 days)
