Your Role and Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, order necessary diagnostic tests, and craft individualized care plans
Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses in collaboration with physicians or independently depending on credentials
Educate patients and families about prevention, wellness, and disease management
Prescribe medications and therapies within the scope of practice
Engage in patient follow-up and chronic care management
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide seamless, holistic care
Document meticulously within electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Background
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Missouri
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or specialty equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within three months)
