Your Role and Responsibilities
Conducting in-depth assessments of patients, determining the necessity for diagnostic testing, and crafting tailored care plans
Diagnosing and managing a spectrum of acute and chronic conditions, either in collaboration with healthcare professionals or independently based on credentials
Providing education to patients and families on wellness, preventive measures, and chronic illness management
Prescribing a range of medications and therapeutic interventions within your professional scope
Engaging in ongoing patient follow-ups and chronic disease management
Working with multidisciplinary teams to foster holistic care pathways
Maintaining meticulous electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
Education and Certification Essentials
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduated from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program
Certifications Needed
Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Wisconsin
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a comparable specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
