Your Responsibilities Await
Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and devising personalized care strategies
Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in cooperation with physicians or independently (subject to credentials)
Instructing patients and their families on preventive care, health maintenance, and illness management
Administering prescriptions and therapeutic interventions within practice guidelines
Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, integrated healthcare
Maintaining meticulous and accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
Your Education Counts
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Your Credentials Matter
Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Louisiana
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
