Your Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop tailored care plans

Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic conditions independently or in collaboration with physicians as appropriate

Educate patients and their families about prevention, health maintenance, and effective disease management

Prescribe medications and therapies, adhering to relevant practice guidelines

Engage in patient follow-up and manage chronic care effectively

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless patient care

Maintain precise documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications You Need

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree

Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in New York State

National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or the equivalent in your specialty

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure within 90 days)

Essential Skills
