Your Role and Responsibilities

Conducting thorough patient evaluations, arranging necessary diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care strategies

Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions in collaboration with a physician or independently (based on your credentialing)

Empowering patients and families through education on prevention, wellness, and effective disease management

Prescribing therapies and medications within your scope of practice

Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care management

Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, holistic healthcare

Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation within electronic health records (EHR)

Required Educational Background

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Mandatory Credentials

Current Nurse Practitioner license in Arizona

National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)

Essential Skills
