Your Daily Contributions
Conduct thorough assessments of patients, utilize diagnostic testing, and develop tailored care strategies
Diagnose and manage a range of health conditions, partnering with physicians or practicing independently as your credentials allow
Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options
Prescribing medications and therapies according to your scope of practice
Engage in patient follow-ups and chronic care management
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to guarantee comprehensive and compassionate care
Maintain accurate documentation through electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Qualifications Needed
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program
Certifications Required
Active Nurse Practitioner license in California
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or eligibility to obtain within 90 days)
Distinguishing Skills
Exceptional clinical judgment combined with a nurturing approach to patient interaction
Strong communication abilities for effective collaboration with patients, families, and staff
Ability to adapt in dynamic, patient-focused environments
Familiarity with EMR systems and a knack for telehealth technologies
