Your Responsibilities
Executing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating personalized care strategies
Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in conjunction with physicians or autonomously, based on your credentials
Providing education to patients and families regarding prevention, wellness, and disease management
Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies within your scope of practice
Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care management
Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee integrated, comprehensive care
Documenting accurately within electronic medical records (EMR)
Education Background
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Massachusetts
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
