As a Nurse Practitioner, your responsibilities will include thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostics, and devising unique care plans tailored to individual needs. Educational qualifications for this role include a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. You will need a current Nurse Practitioner license in Ohio, national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialty credential, and Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to acquire them within 90 days).
