Your Role Includes

Performing thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating personalized care blueprints

Diagnosing and addressing acute challenges, chronic conditions, or episodic illnesses, either in partnership with physicians or independently (depending on your qualifications)

Instructing patients and their families about health promotion, wellness, and effective disease management

Prescribing medications and treatments within the designated scope of practice

Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic conditions

Teamwork and collaboration with interdisciplinary groups to provide holistic and seamless patient care

Maintaining precise documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Indiana

National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
