Your Impactful Responsibilities
Perform thorough patient evaluations, arranging for necessary laboratory tests, and crafting personalized care strategies
Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic health issues, either collaboratively with physicians or independently based on your qualifications
Provide education to patients and their families about prevention, health promotion, and effective disease management
Prescribe medications and therapies adhering to clinical protocols
Engage in patient follow-up and ongoing management of chronic conditions
Work within interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Accurately document all clinical interactions in electronic medical records (EMR)
Essential Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program
Licensure and Certifications Required
Current Nurse Practitioner licensure valid in Florida
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or other relevant specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
