Your Key Responsibilities
Executing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic procedures, and developing personalized care strategies
Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in accordance with physicians or autonomously (based on your credentials)
Equipping patients and their families with knowledge on prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management
Prescribing medications and therapies within your professional scope
Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management
Working collaboratively across various teams to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care
Maintaining precise and detailed documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
Education Requirements
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of New Jersey
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or other pertinent specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
