Your Responsibilities
Conducting thorough patient evaluations, initiating diagnostic tests, and curating personalized care strategies
Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health concerns collaboratively with physicians or independently within your credentialing
Empowering patients and families with knowledge about prevention, wellness, and disease management
Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with practice regulations
Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care oversight
Cooperating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care
Maintaining meticulous electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Prerequisites
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Credentials
Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Florida
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure within 90 days)
