Your Responsibilities Include

Performing in-depth patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies

Identifying and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently where applicable

Providing education to patients and their families regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, and ongoing management

Prescribing medications and treatments within your practice scope

Engaging in patient follow-up and comprehensive chronic care administration

Working with interdisciplinary teams to ensure thorough, integrated patient care

Accurate and detailed documentation within electronic medical record systems

Education Requirements

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Mandatory Certifications

Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of North Carolina

National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent in specialization

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
