Your Role in Our Caring Community
Performing thorough assessments, ordering necessary tests, and developing tailored treatment plans for patients
Collaborating with physicians to diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions
Providing education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management strategies
Prescribing and managing medications as per regulatory guidelines
Engaging in follow-up care and coordinated chronic disease management
Working collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams to facilitate holistic patient care
Maintaining accurate patient records using electronic medical record systems
Your Pathway to Success
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner education program
Key Certifications
Current Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or another relevant specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within a defined period)
