Your Responsibilities
Performing comprehensive evaluations of patients, recommending diagnostic procedures, and creating personalized care strategies
Identifying and addressing acute, ongoing, or episodic illnesses, either independently or as part of a collaborative team (subject to your credentials)
Providing education to patients and their families about health maintenance, disease prevention, and management strategies
Prescribing necessary medications and treatments in adherence to your scope of practice
Engaging in follow-up consultations and overseeing chronic illness management
Working alongside various interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and comprehensive healthcare
Accurately and thoroughly documenting patient interactions within electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Ohio
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a specialty equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
