Your Role
Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating personalized care strategies
Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic conditions both independently and in collaboration with physicians, as per your credentials
Guiding patients and their families in prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management
Prescribing medications and therapies within your scope of practice
Engaging in patient follow-up care and chronic disease management
Working with interdisciplinary teams to provide cohesive, comprehensive care
Accurately documenting patient interactions in electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Certification Requirements
Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Colorado
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or specialty equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or the ability to obtain these within 90 days
Key Skills
Excellent clinical judgment coupled with a nurturing bedside demeanor
Strong communication abilities with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Flexibility in fast-paced, patient-centric settings
Familiarity with EMR systems and comfort using telehealth technology
A dedication to collaborative practice and evidence-based care
