Your Responsibilities Will Include
Performing thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized treatment plans
Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions, whether in partnership with physicians or independently based on your credentials
Educating patients and their families about health maintenance, preventive measures, and illness management
Prescribing medication and treatment plans in accordance with your licensed extent of practice
Involved in ongoing patient care and chronic health management
Collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams to provide integrated and comprehensive care
Accurately documenting patient interactions using electronic medical records (EMR)
What You Need to Succeed
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Certifications Required
Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Michigan
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialization
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
