Your Responsibilities
Performing thorough patient evaluations, coordinating diagnostic testing, and creating personalized care plans
Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health concerns, either independently or in cooperation with supervising physicians as required
Providing education to patients and their families regarding wellness, preventive measures, and chronic condition management
Administering medications and therapies consistent with your licensure
Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic disease management initiatives
Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for integrated, comprehensive care delivery
Maintaining precise and detailed electronic medical records (EMR)
What You Need to Succeed
Masters degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program
Mandatory Credentials
Active Nurse Practitioner license in California
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
