Your Responsibilities Will Include
Performing thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing tailored treatment plans.
Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, collaborating with physicians or practicing independently based on your credentials.
Educating patients and families on preventive care, wellness strategies, and chronic disease management.
Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with your professional scope.
Engaging in ongoing patient follow-up and chronic care management activities.
Collaborating across interdisciplinary teams to provide cohesive, comprehensive care.
Maintaining precise and thorough documentation within electronic medical records (EMR).
Education Requirements
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Mandatory Certifications
Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Michigan
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the willingness to obtain them within 90 days)
