Your Daily Contributions
Performing in-depth patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic exams, and developing personalized treatment strategies
Diagnosing and addressing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues working alongside physicians or independently (depending on your credentials)
Providing education to patients and families about prevention, wellness, and managing chronic conditions
Prescribing medications and therapies within your professional scope
Engaging in patient follow-ups and ongoing chronic care management
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, integrated care
Maintaining precise and thorough documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications for Success
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Florida
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialization
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to achieve within 90 days)
