Nurse Practitioner - NP - Family Medicine

Your Role and Responsibilities
Executing thorough patient evaluations, initiating diagnostic tests, and constructing personalized care strategies
Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic conditions in partnership with physicians or autonomously (depending on licensure)
Instructing patients and their families on prevention, well-being, and chronic disease management
Prescribing medications and therapies that adhere to practice regulations
Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic disease management initiatives
Cooperating with multidisciplinary teams to promote smooth, holistic patient care
Ensuring meticulous documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Credentials
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in New Jersey
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialization
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
